My favorite sport ⚽


My favorite game is football, also known as soccer. It is a popular sport played by two teams, each trying to score goals by kicking the ball into the opponent's net. Football is exciting and fast-paced, which is why I love it.

I enjoy playing football because it keeps me fit and active. Running, passing, and kicking the ball require a lot of energy, and I feel stronger every time I play. I often play football with my friends at school during recess or after classes. It is a great way to have fun and bond with them.

Watching football matches on TV is another thing I love. My favorite football player is Lionel Messi because of his amazing skills and dedication. His moves on the field inspire me to practice and improve my game. Football is more than just a game for me. It teaches important values like teamwork, discipline, and perseverance. Working together with my teammates to score a goal feels very rewarding.

Playing football makes me happy and energetic. It is not just about winning but also enjoying the process and learning from every game. Football is truly my favorite sport, and I always look forward to playing it.

Kandy Esala Perahera 🙏

Kandy Perahera is also known as Dalada Maligawa Perahera. It is a beautiful pageant in Sri Lanka. It is annually celebrated to pay homage to the Sacred Tooth Relic. King, Kirthi Sri Rajasinghe started it first. gust in Kand Kandy Perahara is held in July or August in Kandy every year. First, whip crackers lead the perahera by cracking whips.  As well as fire ball acrobats, drum beaters, flag bearers, sword carriers, stilt walkers and traditional local dancers can be seen in the procession. Kandyan dancers add a more and more beauty to the perahera.  The tusker carries the Sacred Tooth Relic. Diyawadana Nilame and other Nilames follow the tusker.he festival ends with the traditional Diya Kepeema ritual at Mahaweli River at Gatambe in Kandy. Kandy Perahara is a unique symbol in Sri Lanka
